Wiggle Cheshire Cat 2014

Crewe, United Kingdom
23 Mar, 2014 - 23 Mar, 2014

About this event

Kicking off the British sportive season, Wiggle Cheshire Cat draws thousands of riders from all over the country. A true sportive in every sense, Wiggle Cheshire Cat is a perfect season opener, and one to pin your winter training to. For 2014, we launch the event with a closed road climb up the famous Mow Cop Killer Mile climb that culminates with a 25% gradient. The challenge is to get up the 25% gradient without putting your foot down – we’ll be recording those that do! The Cat isn’t just about Mow Cop, we’ve got Gun Hill and Wincle followed by a wonderful long descent in to Sutton before heading out on to the Cheshire Plain via Jodrell Bank and the infamous telescope.
