During the first week of June 2011, six friends from North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service, Yorkshire Ambulance Service & North Tees Hospital will be undertaking a Charity expedition that will be raising funds for three charities; The Firefighters Charity, Yorkshire Air Ambulance and The Great North Air Ambulance. The event is in the form of a large scale triathlon we have named ‘Swim, Bike and Hike’ as it consists of us climbing the three Highest Peaks in Scotland, England and Wales, Swimming 1/2 Km in the Tarns/loch on each mountain and then Cycling between each mountain covering over 600 miles in seven days
