The 2013 SunSmart Busselton Festival of Triathlon incorporating Ironman 70.3 is owned and run by Triathlon WA. Ironman 70.3 Busselton will take competitors on – a 1.9km swim along the Busselton Jetty featuring calm, crystal waters, a 90.1km cycle on flat, fast roads through varying scenery including the Tuart Forrest and a flat 21.1km run along the beautiful Busselton waterfront. Ironman 70.3 Busselton will serve as a qualifier for Ironman 70.3 Asia Pacific Championships which will offer a Professional Prize purse of $15,000.00 US.
