At Pursue Scholars, what it means to “Pursue Unity” is to holistically invest in the leaders of tomorrow that will unify us! We believe that the scholars we have the privilege to serve and support are critical to binding the wounds of division that have been so aggravated by recent events in our city and in our nation. To symbolize this, on September 26th -- Solomon Dixon, The Act Six Coordinator at Pursue Scholars, will undertake a symbolic walk across the entire city of Chicago in order to raise funds for these scholars. He will travers the entire 24 miles of the historic Western avenue, beginning at 119th st on the South Side and ending at Howard St on the North Side! This walk symbolizes that though we are diverse and often segregated, that we are One Chicago and that there is greatness and beauty no matter where you find your feet.
