Due to ongoing highway maintenance works, the route for the Pilgrims Hospices Cycle Challenge on Sunday 5th May has been amended. Online route maps and route signage on the day will reflect the updated route.
Affecting all ride distances
All routes will now turn left off Wincheap onto Hollow Lane. Then, follow Iffrin Lane, Chartham Downs Road and Watery Lane to Petham village, before taking Waltham Road to Waltham village, where you rejoin the previously planned route.
Affecting 100 and 125 mile routes
After passing through the village of Guston and joining Dover Road, the route now turns right onto Old Charlton Road, then Connaught Road, before rejoining the previously planned route at Dover Castle.
Those using GPX files on their cycle computers are advised to re-download the file from the updated online maps.
Thank you for your understanding. More information can be found at www.pilgrimscyclechallenge.org
