I have served within the Military for 23 years and have always tried to live an active life; I started to find the normal Gym and Run routine becoming mundane. I decided I needed to revamp my outlook and took part in the Winter Tough Guy in Jan 12 and followed this by completing the Summer Tough Guy \“Nettle Warrior\” in Full Ice Hockey Kit, less skates of course, in a team. We managed to raise over £700 for charity which was a great moment for me.

SPIDERS ICE HOCKEY MARATHON CHALLENGE
I am now training for a fund raising challenge, firstly I will be completing the Gloucester (UK) Marathon (First Ever) in ful ice hockey kit on 20 Jan 13, followed by completing the London marathon but this time I will be attempting to break the Guiness World record of the \‘Fastest Marathon in Ice Hockey Kit\’, the record is currently 4hrs 30 mins.

So far I have completed my first two Half Marathons (Wye Valley
