We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations. At the end of September 2012 I cycled from Portsmouth 2 Penzance (Lands End) solo and unsupported. My intention was to raise as much money as possible for Children In Need and to complete the journey in a week. This was also be a personal challenge for me as before I created this site I hadn't been a cycling in years ( since my paper round really), I have a prolapsed/disc bulge, dodgy ankle and shoulder from old accidents and at 47 years old no spring chicken and at the start of all this a bit over weight ! well a lot really. Well I raised £900 for the Portsmouth 2 Lands End Ride. Well this has encouraged me to do the big one in early May 2013 John O'Groats 2 Lands End !! This will also include taking in the Northerly most point on the mainland Dunnet Head and the Southerly , The Lizard. Total miles approximately 999.9! This event is due to the sad and unexpected news that my mum has terminal Bowel Cancer the Charities for this fund raising event will now be switched from Children in Need to support the Bowel Cancer charities listed. I hope that all of you that have supported me so far will be on board with the new charities and continue to show your support. many thanks to you all.
