In recognizing the value of the bicycle for the young students of Sen Sok District of Phnom Penh, Cambodia to ride to school each day, we are riding our bikes to raise funds for the non-governmental organization "Children for Change Cambodia" (CCC). CCC is the only non-governmental organization working to support and create opportunities for children born into poverty stricken families. The organization provides food, uniform, education, and skills training to impoverished students who otherwise may be pulled into the prostitution or drug dealing businesses that are ubiquitous in the poor neighborhood of Sen Sok. We will raise funds by asking local businesses, family, friends, and co-workers to pledge and donate on CCC's official website http://www.cccambodia.org/ for every mile that we bike on the Arkansas River bike path in Wichita, KS on October 12, 2013 at 8:30AM.
