Next Sunday, Neil Lauder - Escapade participant x3 and first place finisher and FKT holder from the first edition is taking on another big challenge and I will be his support crew for his ride, following him from Stamford Bridge to Ashford, back to Stamford Bridge and then back to finish in Ashford next Sunday for a total of 174 miles! There is then a group of three walking the 58 mile route from Stamford Bridge to Ashford with the aim of all finishing at the same sort of time on Sunday afternoon. It’s a great cause to support a local lad with some treatment that’s unavailable in the U.K. and it’s one of those where if everyone chipped in the price of a cappuccino we could make a significant difference!
