Problem uploading GPX file

Hi
For some reason when I try to upload a GPX file the web page shows hundreds of lines of the following code:
Warning: Division by zero in /var/www/vhosts/mapmytracks.com/httpdocs/assets/php/modules/classes/gpx.php on line 103
I have tried emailing the file to my drop box but it never appears in my activity log.
The reason for the upload is my iPhone stopped recording 23 miles into a 54 mile ride, not sure why as I didn’t stop so the App should not have auto paused. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

No idea if this is accurate or not, but could the .gpx file it is trying to upload/sync be corrupt? If it crashed (which version of Whyphone do you have? If before a 4, then is there an issue with multi-tasking? So if you are tracking and you get a phone call or text, it seems to stop the tracking), then perhaps the .gpx file hasn’t been finished off properly so the website doesn’t recognise it as a .gpx file.

Hi and thanks for your thoughts.

Because my iPhone 4 stopped tracking about half way through my ride I tried to be clever and manually complete it using the following steps.
1 Downloaded the GPX file from Map My Tracks.
2 Uploaded the file to Bikely.com
3 Completed the route saved it and then exported as a GPX file.
4 Uploaded the file to Map My Tracks.
5 Because it didn’t work I suspected the file was corrupt and repeated the process a couple of times, I also checked the content of the files and the composition is the same.

I am aware that there will be no time stamps or speed info I was just interested to see if it would work and unfortunately it doesn’t. That will teach me for trying to be smart ;-)

I’m not going to lose sleep over the issue with the iPhone not recording the whole of the ride, that may well be my fault. I have used the app for quite a while now and I am very pleased with it’s performance, I wish my own was as good.

If would be good if the Map My Tracks team could find a way round the problem as I suspect I am not alone in wanting to manually edit a route when the accuracy is a little off.

Thanks
