Hi there, Ive got a Nokia N82 which i want to use for live tracking but for some reason it doesnt seem to want to connect to the website (via my network 02), i get the same “connection lost” message as other people. It seems to be able to connect when i borrowed my friends T-mobile sim but i was just wondering if there is any particular thing that the network operator has to support for it to work etc. or if it might just be my phone settings.

Thanks a lot; the tracker application looks great by the way!

Hi,
The network has to support socket connections, as well as normal HTTP.
However, it is tested working on 02, as well as on the N82…

To help us track down the problem, if you do a “Where Am I”, does the phone show your current position on a map?

Thanks for using Map My Tracks,
Rob

I’ve got the same problem.
Phone: BB 8820
GPS: internal
Network: Vodafone (Netherlands)

It keeps “Acquiring GPS”, while “… Standby”.
Every few seconds it is “Connecting” - and then “Connection lost” is shown.

It works fine in the “Where am I” mode.

All other GPS related software is working fine (BB Tracker, Nav4All, BB maps, Google maps, ...)
