Sorry if this is something very simple, but this is my first time using MapMyTracks.
Just got a Nokia N95 and your software installed first time. Nokia maps and Google maps works on my phone, so I assume the GPS is working fine.
I have setup map my tracks as shown in your guide but it just continuously shows the white background with swirly symbols rotating and the yellow selection cursor in the middle of the screen when I try the where am i option from the dashboard.
Any help would be appreciated chaps.

Thanks for trying out Map My Tracks.Glad to hear that it installed without any trouble

It sounds like your phone is taking a long time to get its first GPS fix. When you see the swirling symbols it means that it is waiting for a GPS position. It’s also worth checking that you use a data access point.

I notice that you have now made a track has the problem sorted itself out?

Yes, sorry to have bothered you.
Wouldn’t locate satelites by the find my location option, but started tracking and it kicked into life.
Excellent bit of software, the site is great for tracking it too.
Will subscribe asap.
