You might be better off downloading the .jar and .jad files that make up Map My Tracks Mobile to your PC first and use Blackberry Desktop Software to install the files to your phone.
If you don’t have the desktop software it can be downloaded via Blackberry

Hi,
I installed the device on my blackberry and it wouldn’t run, error code “verification error 2142 at offset 33ac”
removed app, attempted install from blackbery manager using the jad/jar files from the site… blackberry manager wouldnt let me install it “error was XML syntax error on line 1”
device is an 8310…
I’m afraid that at present Map My Tracks is not supported by Blackberry. We have plans to roll out a version suitable for Blackberrys so keep an eye on the site for announcements.
I’ve installed Map My tracks on my Sony Ericsson K800i, and it seems to work nicely. But, the tracking seems to never exeed a couple of kilometres. I’ve tried to keep the phone active, so that the screensaver doesn’t start, but that’s obviously not the problem…
The tracker keeps timing me, but the GPS-information just stops.
ulrik, you mention that the GPS stops. Can you confirm if the lon. and lat. still update when you are tracking?
To test this you’ll need to track then scroll through the display screens when tracking to see the last one that shows the lon. and lat. It would be useful if you can confirm if these are updating after you think the phone has stopped doing so.
ulrik, I presume that the application remains responsive and that you can still browse around? If that is the case it looks like there might be a memory issue with the phone. One thing to try is to use the latest version 1.2.1 that we have just released yesterday. V1.2.1 allows you to track without showing a map. If you try this it might help out on the memory problem and get you tracking for longer.
