The success of tracking and making calls at the same time will depend on your handset and mobile network. All the Nokia handsets that we have tested here allow you to receive the calls (or make them) but this will pause the updating of you location to the server. As soon as the call is finished it resumes tracking.
We plan to introduce a pause track feature which will help get around this problem.
Our tests on a Sony Ericsson K750i don’t interrupt the tracking but simply divert incoming calls to voice mail. If you need to avoid an interruption while tracking it may be a good idea to set your phone to divert calls to voicemail. This will ensure that tracks remain accurate and don’t have any missing data.
If your phone behaves differently please let us know.
This should not be an issue if you have a 3G fone as you should be able to use voice and data at the same time! Really good reason to upgrade if ya ask me =)
