Error Message From MapMyTracks Proxy When Starting A Track

We are using the Map My Tracks api.

Sometimes when a request to start a new track is made the MapMyTracks incoming proxy server server responds with a message similar to - proxy error No response from upstream server (I haven’t recorded the exact message). We interpreted this as no track is started so waited a minute and then started a track again, however a track was in fact started so then there would be multiple tracks running simultaneously. To fix this we now start a track, ask for the current track data and don’t try and start another track until we get a message saying there is no current track.

The server should start a track and respond with the track ID or if its not going to respond not start a track. Looking just now I see lots of 0 length simultaneous tracks from axlrio, one of which is http://www.mapmytracks.com/explore/activity/my-wahoo-fitness-title14450/ . This is what our app did until we implemented the fix. axlrio is using the Fisica Fitness app so it looks like that app might be having the same problem we did.

We first saw this on thursday 8 December and have seen it a lot since. It seems to occur most often near to the back up time when the server goes down.

Lost History on Phone

After installing the latest upgrade on my i-phone 4 i have lost all my accumulative figures on my dash board page. My history is still there and it is still on the website but it is frustrating to start again.

Any ideas?

Upload files (or email dropbox) and weekly activity

Unfortunatly, some of my activities do not appear in the weeky activity overview. When I upload my tracks in Orux (app) everything works fine, but when I create a GPX myself, it doesn’t appear (see for example the activity of last sunday/yesteday). The time of the activity is 00:00, but it should be around 13:00. Can I adjust these time settings? Could it be another problem?

Looking forward to get this resolved!

Rowing missing in the Leaderboard

Rowing has disappeared from the choice of activities available for the leaderboard feature.
2nd bug: reporting bugs to support at mapmytracks dot com (10 days ago, in this case) seems to be of no use, no answer so far.

App crashes

I have used this app 21 times and it crashes every time I use it. I have an iphone G4. I have to reboot the phone to get anything to work again.

Saturday activities not in weekly summary and incorrect in e-mail summary

My Saturday activities do not show up in the weekly summary above the list of my activities even though they are on the list of my activities. Also my weekly e-mail summary never has my Saturday activities correct (so far anyway - I’ve only has the app for 3 weeks). Is the problem, at least with the e-mail summaries, to do with when the e-mails are sent? For example, I got the e-mail with the summary for 9 October through 15 October on 15 October at 3:26 PM (PST) while I was out on a hike. Would this also prevent the Saturday activity from showing up on the web site weekly summary? Is there a way to delay the summary so it actually records all Saturday activity?

Settings crash (OutFront)

Just downloaded this app on my new 4S, and it’s currently crashing when I try and modify any of the settings (more specifically, the crash occurs when I click the “Settings” back arrow after tapping on the setting I want to modify).
I’m assuming it’s an issue with either the new iPhone or iOS 5, but I just figured I’d let you guys know so you can look into it.
Great looking app otherwise, look forward to using it!

Can’t Join Event

Hello MMT -

I’ve set up an event in my account but when I attempt to join from my iPhone, I get an error message that the event code is invalid. This is despite the fact that I’m looking at the code on my PC and entering it EXACTLY the same. Is there some kind of delay in event’s becoming live within the MapMyTracks system? or does it just not work?

Hi,
i have uploaded 10 activieties sucessful from my Blackberry 9700 bold. But i can see only 4 on the website, where are the other 6 ?
After sync online, the blackberry says online sync complete.

What should i do to see the other 6 activities ?
