SPOT sattellite tracker

Hi there

I’ve just bought a SPOT satellite tracker and hoped to use it to plot my whereabouts on my personal website. Has anyone used this device with mapmytracks? Are they compatible or is mapmytracks only for use with standard mobile phones?

Blackberry 8830 Issue

When I attempt to start “track” or “where am I” I usually never get past the message:

“Aquiring GPS

....Standby”

“where am I” worked once, but I can never get it going again. I’ve tried rebootiing the device a couple times with no luck.

Connection Problems

Hi there, Ive got a Nokia N82 which i want to use for live tracking but for some reason it doesnt seem to want to connect to the website (via my network 02), i get the same “connection lost” message as other people. It seems to be able to connect when i borrowed my friends T-mobile sim but i was just wondering if there is any particular thing that the network operator has to support for it to work etc. or if it might just be my phone settings.

permissions / preferences

Just fired it up for the first time - and got all kinds of prompts for allow this or that connection, prompting for permission, etc. I stumbled into a screen allowing me to configure these preferences, ?saved it, and moved on… Now I’d like to change one or two of those settings, but I can’t find the page anymore.
Can you tell me how to access that preferences page again?

Blackberry 8130 Installation Issue

I’m trying to install the application from mapmytracks.com/install via the Blackberries web browser but it comes up with “Download Failed, 907 Invalid COD HTTP Error 500, Internal Server Error” when I try to install it.

Is there a problem with the server?

Hi, i had tried to install on my above mentioned phone but after installing, the software did run but i got stuck at the license agreement screen as i cannot find the accept button. If i tap on more button, i only get reject. Please advise.

mapmytracks.jar doesn’t install on my HTC Touch Dual

I have an HTC Touch Dual with Esmertec Jbed Build ID: 20070822.1.1 and an external GPS bluetooth reciever that works very well with TomTom already installed.

I tried to install “mapmytracks” but fails displaying the message:

“....javax.microedition.io.connector.bluetooth.client is not available on this device. - 58
Please contact your operator for more information”

Can any1 help me?

blackberry install probs

hi, i am using a blackberry curve 8310. i have tried installing the app directly but i get a ‘request entity too large’ so i downloaded the ‘cod files’ to my PC in the hope that i could install the app from the blackberry desktop manager. however the application loader doesnt recognise the files i have downloaded (neither the zip or the cod files)

can anyone shed any light on how i can install the app from the desktop manager?

Please help, trying to install on my xda steller (htc tytn II) and the thing keeps telling me that i don’t have permission
